This is when we work with a secondary school or a sixth-form college, free of charge, for a whole academic year to either help create or 'kick start' a new allotment - no matter what size - from scratch or to 'reboot' an existing project that has fallen in decline. You can see more examples of our Transformative Programme by visiting 'Our work' page or via the short film featured below:
After the transformation has been completed, The Papillon Project will then help a school or college to 'future proof' (make sustainable) their allotment and share all our experiences with 'growing help'.

Due to very high demand, we politely ask schools and colleges to apply for this level of support by completing and returning an application form and a questionnaire.
All applications for our Transformative Programme will be reviewed and considered by our Board of Trustees. Following a successful application, a secondary school or sixth-form college will receive intensive support for a whole academic year and continued support for future years.
Applications for our Transformative Programme are currently closed as we are fully booked for this current academic year (2024-25). However, schools' are most welcome to register their interest and to find our more about this programme whenever they wish. Please click here to contact us.
